Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process work? – By calling in to our customer service center, you can schedule the entire rental over the phone with one of our representatives. Once you have described the job you will need the dumpster for, we choose the best type from our stock to handle your waste disposal. From there you schedule your delivery and leave the rest to us.

What is the length of the rental period? – Starting from the date the roll-off is delivered, there is a two week rental period on the unit. You can keep the dumpster as long as you want though. There is a flat-rate price of ten dollars a day for every day after the first fourteen. When you are finished with the rental, call us back at 1-615-866-2052 (not the number on the side of the dumpster) and we will send a driver out to make pickup. Please note that we do not automatically come out after two weeks.

Do I need a permit for the roll-off? – If you are having the unit delivered onto totally private property then there is no need to first obtain a permit. However, if the unit must be placed on public property (such as sidewalks or city streets) then it is required that you get a permit through the city before our driver can make delivery.

What should I know about filling the dumpster? – When you are filling your rental, make sure that you are evenly spreading out the refuse inside the container. Also, be sure that your refuse does not go any higher than level with the walls of the container. Nothing can be hanging over the sides of the walls either. If you will be disposing of heavy debris such as dirt or concrete you cannot have those substances mixed with anything else. They must be solo in the dumpster and only filled approximately halfway up the walls.

What are restricted items not allowed inside the container? – There can be no flammable, toxic, or hazardous materials, thinners, lacquers, paints, paint filters, solvents, oils, oil filters, contaminated absorbents, asbestos, batteries, infectious waste, contaminated soils, fuels, inks, resins, adhesives or drums placed inside of the open-top. Anything containing refrigerant must be evacuated according to federal law before disposal. If you dispose of tires, stumps, or railroad ties you will be charged an additional rate.

Do I have to be onsite when the open-top is delivered? – If you have given us specific placement instructions then it is not required that you are onsite when the dumpster arrives. However, if the location is particularly difficult to describe or get to it may be beneficial to be there when the driver makes their delivery.

What is the limit on the amount of dumpsters I can rent at one time? – You can rent as many roll-offs as you want, there is no limit. Even stagger the delivery dates to take advantage of our rental periods. Or, if you are short on space, set up an empty and return service with us and always have a unit onsite when you need one.
